Torah Studies Department

At the heart of our mission
Our Torah Studies Department inspires a deep and enduring connection to Torah, mitzvos and Jewish values — cultivating a lifelong commitment to spiritual growth, ethical living and a strong sense of Jewish identity.
We guide each student on a personal journey toward Torah scholarship and practice. Through rigorous learning and character development, we instill a love for Torah study that extends far beyond the classroom.
What we learn
- Chumash — deep engagement with the text, its language, themes and moral teachings, through traditional and modern commentaries.
- Gemara — from middle school, boys learn Gemara — its principles, halachic analysis and logic.
- Halacha — practical application in daily life, so students observe mitzvos with confidence and understanding.
- Jewish history and ethics — our heroes, milestones and the timeless values of kindness, humility and respect.
- Hebrew language — proficiency in reading and understanding Torah sources in the original.
How we learn
Experiential learning
- Shabbatonim — immersive Shabbos experiences where Torah, tefillah and community come together.
- Guest lectures and rabbinic guidance — insights from esteemed rabbis and scholars.
- Community service — chesed and communal responsibility, Torah applied to real life.
Individualized attention
Each student's journey in Torah is unique. Through chavrusa learning and one-on-one mentorship, our educators guide students to grow at their own pace.
Preparing for the future
By the time they graduate, our students possess the skills, knowledge and passion to continue their Torah studies in advanced yeshiva high schools — or to carry their Torah values into any path they choose — as leaders and contributing members of the Jewish community.
