Every child, b'tzelem Elokim

We believe every child is born b'tzelem Elokim and deserves the respect, love and opportunity to discover their place in the world.

Our language- and play-based curriculum meets the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual needs of each child — with room to explore, question and succeed at their own pace, and to grow through positive social interaction, active participation and the exciting prospect of self-discovery.

Our goals

  • A loving, nurturing environment in which children feel secure enough to try new experiences and discover more about themselves, the world and each other.
  • Opportunities to gain independence, self-control and respect for others.
  • A positive self-image and an "I can" attitude.
  • A connection with Hashem and a love for Torah and doing mitzvos.

How we teach

A research-based approach informed by developmentally appropriate practice, with influences from Creative Curriculum, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, constructivism and the Outdoor Classroom. We honor each child's interests, experiences and ideas about learning in an experiential, hands-on environment, driven by our commitment to a love of Hashem and mitzvah observance.

Our curriculum is both emergent and intentionally planned, holistic across language, math, science, art, music, sensory, social-emotional and motor development. Most importantly, our staff impart the genuine warmth, love and acceptance that let each child flourish.
